Katha"- the name simply means "story" in Hindi. It conjures up different emotions across people of all ages from a sacred, divine feeling for the old when listening to the epic scriptures to a sparkle in the eyes of a young child hearing his favorite folklore. Story-telling is a very powerful medium that has been used for centuries to pass along culture, traditions and basic beliefs. Film-making is an improvised art form of story-telling, and we believe that we have interesting stories to share. Our tales will intrigue, interest and entertain others.

Katha Films L.L.C. is in the business of making films and it was formed in March 2002 in the state of California. The objective of the organization is to produce quality entertainment content with topics that intrigue and entertain our audiences. Katha Films is focused on producing low to mid budget films with the clear objective of maximizing return for its investors. Katha Films plans on producing 3 – 5 films in the next 5 years in different genres.
